Cook along with the Youth Crew
Each Thursday in February we will provide 20 recipe bags free for Black community members of Kingston. (One per household please per week.)
The recipe will be by a Black chef and be vegetarian (plant based). We will supply the veggies and some of the other ingredients that will serve 4 people. As this is our 1st time offering a service like this, we can not accommodate food allergies or preferences.
We will share the name of recipe and focus vegetable for the following Thursday a week before so people can decide if they want to try it.
The Youth Crew will also cook the same recipe each week and we’ll post pictures, comments, and videos on our social media from them.
We ask that members of the Black community in Kingston put in their request in advance by Monday each week at 6pm (so that we can purchase, bag & set the ingredients aside for you). We will start a wait list if we have a greater demand and do our best to fulfill it.
Recipe bags will need to be picked up at our farm stand on Thursdays between 3:30-6pm.
We can accommodate the first 20 requests.
If you are a member of the Black community and want to reserve your recipe bag, please email or text with your name & phone # to:
